Description
Ambulatory Oncology Infusion RN
Unit: Viragh Infusion Clinic
Shift: Day shift
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts
Weekday hours: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
Saturday hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Weekly hours: 40
Weekends: 2 Saturdays per 6-week schedule
On-call: None
Holidays: As needed by unit
Orientation: 2nd or 4th Monday of the month
2. Required qualifications
- Active RN license.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
- BLS certification.
- Oncology infusion nursing experience.
- Chemotherapy competency.
- ONS/OCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Provider Card – REQUIRED.
- Strong peripheral IV insertion skills.
- Peripheral blood drawing skills.
- Experience accessing, maintaining, and de-accessing central lines.
- Strong patient assessment and education skills.
- Ability to recognize and respond quickly to emergencies.
3. Preferred qualifications
- Epic/Beacon experience (must be very proficient).
- ACLS certification.
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Ambulatory nursing experience.
- Emergency room experience.
