Job Overview

• Outpatient Surgery Center – PACU
• No call, weekends, or holidays.
• 2–3 consecutive weekdays of RTO maximum.
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Travel experience preferred.
• Altera charting experience preferred, but not required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PACU experience.
• Active RN license must be in hand at submission.
• ACLS and BLS required.
• Charting experience required (any EMR).
• Certification verification required.
• Resume required.

Required Clinical Skills

• Ambulatory/Outpatient PACU
• Phase I PACU
• Pre-op/Post-op
• Dysrhythmia recognition and management
• Conscious sedation and MAC
• General and local anesthesia
• Nerve blocks
• Pain assessment and management
• Narcotics/opioid medications and reversal agents
• Airway assessment and oral/nasal airway placement
• Malignant hyperthermia protocol
• RASS assessment
• Emergency medication management
