Description
Registered Nurse – ICU
Location: Big Spring, TX 79720
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Requirements:
- ICU nursing experience.
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required.
- PALS and TNCC preferred.
- Charge Nurse experience preferred.
- Experience working in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
- Ability to manage a 1:2 patient ratio.
- Active nursing license in hand required at submission.
- Nursys verification required at submission.
- Travel experience highly preferred, not mandatory.
Pay Details:
Weekly Gross (36 hours)= $2,407/week
Weekly Gross (48 Hours)= $2,707/Week
Description:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a general ICU setting.
- Monitor and manage patients requiring intensive medical and critical care.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuous cardiac monitoring.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical care treatments.
- Monitor and manage patients with complex and life-threatening conditions.
- Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure quality patient outcomes.
