Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse – Certified School Nurse to join in Santa Maria, California. The ideal candidate will have at least 2+ years of school nursing experience, preferably in a high school setting, and a strong commitment to supporting student health, safety, and well-being.
Job Details:
Location: Santa Maria, CA 93455
Start Date: November 23, 2026
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Details: Local Pay: $65 - $70
Traveler’s Pay: Weekly Gross: $2900 - $3100 weekly for 40 hours
Required Qualifications & Certifications
- Current and active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- California School Nurse Services Credential (SC3A), preferably Clear Credential; Preliminary Credential may also be considered.
- At least 2+ years of previous school nursing experience, ideally in a high school setting.
- Ability to perform the full scope of school-nurse duties, including IEP/504 health-related responsibilities, health plans, medication, screenings, immunizations, parent/provider communication, etc.
