RN Labor & Delivery – Travel Contract

📍 Location: Nampa, ID
🗓️ Contract: 13 weeks
👩‍⚕️ Position: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
🏥 Employment Type: Travel
⏰ Shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM OR 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
🕐 Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
➕ 48 Hours: Available subject to approval

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Nampa, Idaho. The ideal candidate will have strong L&D experience, including OR circulator experience, and be comfortable caring for patients throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period.

Active Idaho RN license
BLS
ACLS
NRP
AWHONN
STABLE
Labor & Delivery experience required
OR circulator experience required
EOW flexibility required
Holiday rotation required
Christmas Eve and Christmas coverage needed
Thanksgiving and NYE off

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum
Monitor maternal and fetal status and recognize changes requiring intervention
Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Function as an OR circulator during C-sections and other obstetric procedures
Administer medications and treatments according to orders and protocols
Assist physicians and surgical teams during deliveries and procedures
Provide immediate newborn care and support following delivery
Maintain accurate patient documentation
Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing process
Respond appropriately to obstetric emergencies
Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, nursery/NICU, and other healthcare team members

Schedule & Hours

Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
36 hours/week guaranteed
48 hours/week available subject to approval
Every other weekend (EOW) flexibility required
Holiday rotation: Christmas Eve and Christmas coverage needed
Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve off
