Position: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Start Date: 11/30/2026
Shift: 4×10-hour days or 5×8-hour shifts
Listed Shift: 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
Schedule: Block scheduling
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Offer Type: Auto Offer

Local Radius: Must live at least 100 miles from the facility.

Mandatory Requirements

• NBSTSA certification required.
• Minimum experience:
  • 2 years of experience with previous travel experience, OR
  • 3 years of experience without travel experience.
• Must live at least 100 miles from the facility.
• Previous travel assignment experience is required in the detailed facility compliance guidelines; at least one completed travel assignment is required.
• EPIC experience is required in the job description's charting-system field, although facility-wide guidelines list it as preferred. Confirm the unit-specific requirement with the account manager.
• Level I trauma experience required.
• Flu vaccination required – no exemptions.
• Must be willing to work required holidays when applicable.

Certifications listed in the requisition:

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS*
• TNCC*

Experience & Clinical Skills

The role involves surgical procedures across multiple specialties, including:

Primary specialties mentioned

• Kidney and/or liver transplant.
• General vascular surgery.
• Robotic general surgery.
• Robotic thoracic surgery.
• Orthopedic surgery.

Important surgical experience

• General OR and trauma surgery.
• Ortho/spine and total joint replacement.
• Da Vinci robotic surgery.
• Vascular procedures and aneurysm repairs.
• Cardiothoracic and cardiovascular procedures.
• Neurological procedures, including craniotomy and VP shunt insertion.
• General, gynecological, urological, and gastrointestinal procedures.
• Laparoscopic and minimally invasive procedures.

Schedule & Holiday Requirements

• Option 1: 4×10-hour shifts.
• Option 2: 5×8-hour shifts.
• Schedule may change based on facility requirements.
• If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall during the assignment, the traveler must work 2 of the 3 holidays.
• If only 2 of these holidays fall during the assignment, the traveler must work at least 1
