Description
Wound Care RN position working four 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, generally 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. The nurse will provide inpatient wound care services across St. Clare, St. Elizabeth, St. Frances, St. Anthony, and St. Anne hospitals as needed. Responsibilities include wound assessment and management, patient care coordination, consultations, treatment recommendations, documentation, discharge supply planning, wound prevention, patient education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Patient cases include ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure injuries, vascular and diabetic ulcers, incontinence-related skin conditions, surgical and traumatic wounds, and wound VAC management. The facility uses EPIC and Smith+Nephew wound VACs.
