Description

Travel RN / CVOR Tech – Cardiovascular Operating Room

Facility: Not specified
Location: Not specified
Department: CVOR
Shift: Day Shift – 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
Contract Length: 91 weeks (please confirm; source lists 91 weeks)

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of cardiac experience
BLS required for both RNs and CVOR Techs
Active license required at submission
Scrubbing experience required for RNs
Crisis Protocol Approved certification listed in requirements

Case Types

CABG
TAVR
Minimally invasive valve replacements
Open valve replacements

Unit Details

2 CVOR suites
Average of 4 cases per day
Epic charting system
Hospital provides scrubs
Unit/department-specific orientation provided
Floating may be required within the Main OR

Schedule & Call Requirements

Call required for everyone (RNs and CVOR Techs)
Minimum of 10 call shifts in a 6-week schedule
Weeknight and weekend call required
30-minute call response time
Weekend and holiday coverage required

Additional Information

COVID-19 Vaccine: Required
BSN: Not required
Cancellation Policy: Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks.
