Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Assignment

📍 Location: Fayetteville, NC
🏥 Facility: Cape Fear Valley Health System
💰 Pay: Up to $2,146/week
📅 Start Date: 11/30/2026
⏳ Duration: 13 Weeks
🌙 Shift: 3x12 Nights (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
🕒 Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Job Overview:

Cape Fear Valley Health System is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have acute care experience and be comfortable treating both adult and pediatric patients, including ICU patients.

Responsibilities

Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and respiratory treatments.
Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory support equipment.
Monitor patient progress and respond to respiratory emergencies.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams.
Document patient care using Epic EMR.

Requirements

✅ Active North Carolina Respiratory Care License
✅ Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential
✅ Minimum 2 Years of Recent Experience
✅ BLS Certification
✅ Experience with Adult & Pediatric Patients
✅ Acute Care/Hospital Experience Required
✅ Epic Experience Preferred

Assignment Details

Night shifts with every other weekend requirement.
Float to similar units and affiliated campuses as needed.
Must be comfortable working with both adult and pediatric ICU patients.
No local candidates within 50 miles of Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Maximum 4 days of requested time off (RTO).
Holiday coverage may be required.
