An immediate 13-week travel contract opening is available for an experienced Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Registered Nurse (RN) in Denville, New Jersey (Morris County / Northern New Jersey metro corridor). Operating within an active interventional cardiovascular suite, this high-compensating role guarantees 40 hours weekly with flexible scheduling options (choose between 4x10-Hour shifts: 06:30 AM – 17:30 PM or 5x8-Hour shifts: 06:30 AM – 14:30 PM). • Hourly W2 Rate: $46.00/hr (40 regular hours)

📅 SHIFT & POSITION DETAILS

• Schedule: Day shifts, 40 hours weekly. Two flexible scheduling configurations available:
  • 4x10-Hour shifts (06:30 AM – 17:30 PM / 6:30 AM – 5:30 PM), OR
  • 5x8-Hour shifts (06:30 AM – 14:30 PM / 6:30 AM – 2:30 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 regular hours guaranteed weekly.
• Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (November 23, 2026 – February 21, 2027).
• On-Call Requirements: 10–15 on-call shifts per month dedicated to emergent STEMI and Neuro/Stroke endovascular coverage.
• Department Setting: Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Suites (Dept: Cardiac Catheterization - 75700).
• Clinical Scope & Specialty Procedures:
  • Direct procedural circulating, monitoring, and intra-arterial hemodynamic line recording during invasive procedures.
  • Rapid emergency response for code STEMI and acute neuro-interventional stroke cases.
  • Adult diagnostic left and right heart catheterizations, coronary angiography, and fractional flow reserve (FFR/iFR) assessments.
  • Interventional procedures: Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), balloon angioplasty, intracoronary stent deployments, and rotational atherectomy.
  • Administration and close titration of moderate/conscious sedation, vasoactive infusions, antiarrhythmics, anticoagulation (heparin protocols, ACT monitoring), and reversal agents.
  • Vascular access site management: femoral and radial sheath prep, maintenance, sheath removal, and vascular closure device deployment.
  • Mechanical circulatory support assist: Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) and Impella maintenance.

🚨 REQUISITE QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUBMISSION

• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of dedicated acute care hospital Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory RN clinical experience (interventional cardiac and STEMI call experience required; neuro-thrombectomy experience preferred).
• Licensure: Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License or Compact/NLC Multistate License strictly in hand at submittal (with Nursys verification).
• Certifications Required at Submittal (Must be attached):
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) — American Heart Association (AHA) only.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) — AHA only.
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification — strictly required.
