Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Brownwood, TX 76801

Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: 11/30/2026 (ASAP start)

Shift: Nights | 3x12 hours, 4x12 hours (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience.
• Must have RRT or CRT certification.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• NRP and PALS required as applicable.
• Sunrise charting experience required.
• Experience working with neonates is mandatory.
• Experience providing respiratory care to adults, pediatrics, and neonates.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Travel experience preferred, not mandatory.
• Active license in hand required at submission.

Pay Details:

Weekly Gross (48 hrs.)= $2,463/Week

Weekly Gross (36 hrs.)= $1,900/Week

Description:

• Provide respiratory care to patients across all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.
• Perform ventilator management, including CPAP, BiPAP, and mechanical ventilation.
• Administer respiratory medications and aerosol treatments, including nebulizers and inhalers.
• Provide oxygen therapy using HFNC, trach collars, ET tubes, and bag-and-mask devices.
• Perform airway management, intubation assistance, extubation, and suctioning.
• Draw and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Provide respiratory care for conditions such as ARDS, RSV, respiratory distress syndrome, and cystic fibrosis.
• Perform chest physiotherapy, pulmonary hygiene, and tracheostomy care.
• Assist with high-risk deliveries and neonatal respiratory procedures.
