Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans.
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate all aspects of patient care within the scope of nursing practice.
• Provide patient education based on individual healthcare needs, treatment plans, and medical conditions.
• Transcribe, interpret, and implement physician orders and established clinical protocols in accordance with facility policies.
• Coordinate care with the Medical Oncologist and other interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Delegate appropriate responsibilities to ancillary personnel and coordinate healthcare team activities.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare providers.
• Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, standards, and clinical guidelines.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and protect confidential patient information.
• Deliver compassionate, professional, and high-quality care while maintaining patient safety and satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications: 

Education

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required.

Experience

• Previous hospital clinic experience preferred.
• Previous Oncology nursing experience preferred.

Licensure and Certifications

• Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wyoming, in good standing with the Wyoming Board of Nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, or must obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required, or must obtain within one year of hire.
• Required credentials must be maintained throughout employment.
