Radiology Technologist – Mammography
Location: Santa Rosa, CA 95405
Contract Duration: 26 weeks
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Shift: Days, 5×8-hour shifts (7:00 AM–6:00 PM)
Scheduling: 4×10-hour block scheduling may be considered for the right candidate. Saturday availability is required.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist specializing in mammography for an outpatient imaging facility in Santa Rosa, California. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and screening mammography experience, proficiency with Hologic equipment, and a commitment to radiation safety and patient care.
First-time travelers are welcome with relevant experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform screening, diagnostic, and digital mammography procedures.
- Operate Hologic 3D mammography equipment.
- Maintain radiation safety and follow universal precautions.
- Provide quality patient care while ensuring accurate imaging and documentation.
- Perform mammography procedures in an outpatient setting.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Active California state license required; pending licenses are not accepted.
- ARRT Mammography (M) and/or ARRT Radiography (R) certification.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with Hologic 3D mammography equipment.
- Prior travel experience is not required.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Fine needle aspiration
- Needle localization
- Stereotactic biopsy
- Hologic Affirm BX equipment
- Experience with outpatient imaging procedures.
Facility & Scheduling Details
- Average daily volume: 20 visits
- Imaging rooms: 2
- Patient ratio experience: 1:1
- Charting system: Any system accepted
- Weekend requirement: Saturday availability required.
- Requested time off: Maximum 7 days.
Note: Scrub color to be confirmed with the unit manager (UM).
