MRI Technologist – Travel Contract

Location: Grove City, OH
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Midday Shift | 4x10 Hours
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
Hours: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
 

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Grove City, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have strong MRI imaging skills, knowledge of MRI safety protocols, and the ability to perform high-quality diagnostic scans while providing excellent patient care.
 

Job Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures by reviewing medical histories, screening for contraindications, and explaining examination processes.
• Position patients appropriately to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Adjust imaging parameters and protocols as needed to ensure optimal image quality.
• Administer contrast agents when authorized and according to facility protocols.
• Monitor patients throughout examinations and respond appropriately to any adverse reactions or emergencies.
• Maintain strict MRI safety standards, including screening for implants, metallic objects, and other contraindications.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Perform quality control checks and ensure proper equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI Technology program.
• Current ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, as required by the facility.
• Current BLS certification.
• Previous MRI experience in an acute care or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging protocols.

Schedule & Contract Details

• 13-week travel assignment
• Midday shift: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
• 4 shifts per week (10-hour shifts)
• Workdays: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
• Location: Grove City, Ohio
