Full-Time | Day Shift

Overview

We are seeking two experienced MRI Technologists to join a brand-new outpatient imaging center in Lyndhurst, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for MRI Techs who enjoy working independently while being part of a small, collaborative team focused on imaging excellence and exceptional patient care.

Schedule

Two full-time shifts available:

• Shift 1: Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Shift 2: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• One Saturday per month

Position Highlights

• Brand-new outpatient imaging center
• Consistent weekday day shifts
• Only one Saturday per month
• May have the opportunity to train in remote MRI scanning

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI exams, including brain, spine, musculoskeletal, abdomen, pelvis, breast, and vascular studies
• Review physician orders and patient history to determine appropriate protocols
• Complete MRI safety screenings for implants, devices, metal, pregnancy, and other contraindications
• Screen for contrast allergies and kidney function
• Start IVs and administer gadolinium contrast according to protocol
• Position patients and select appropriate coils, sequences, and parameters
• Ensure patient comfort and assist those experiencing claustrophobia or anxiety
• Evaluate images for quality and completeness
• Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation
• Follow MRI safety and quality assurance standards

Requirements

• ARRT (MR) Certification required
• 3+ years of MRI experience required
• High-field magnet experience required
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

• GE high-field magnet experience
• Outpatient MRI experience
• Contrast-enhanced MRI experience
