Description

Travel CVOR Surgical Technologist – Day Shift
Location: Plano, TX
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)

Schedule

Day shift
2x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)
2x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
40 hours per week
Call Required: 5–6 call shifts per month

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Current BLS certification (AHA only)
Must have experience supporting cardiovascular surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies for CVOR procedures.
Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operations.
Maintain sterile technique and perform accurate surgical counts.
Anticipate surgical team needs and provide appropriate instruments and supplies.
Assist with patient positioning, draping, specimen handling, and postoperative cleanup.
Follow infection prevention, sterilization, and patient safety protocols.
