Description
Occupational Therapist (OT) – Acute Care
Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Schedule: 5 × 8-hour shifts per week
Workdays: Thursday–Monday
Contract Duration: 16 weeks
Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience.
- Active Arizona OT license or proof that the Arizona license application has already been submitted.
- NBCOT certification.
- BLS certification.
- First-time travelers are welcome.
- Meditech experience is highly preferred.
- Community hospital, LTAC, and Level I or Level II trauma experience are preferred.
Patient Population & Clinical Setting
- Acute care hospital setting.
- Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
- Daily diagnoses include:
- Mild stroke (CVA)
- Generalized weakness
- Gait and mobility difficulties
- Fractures
- Orthopedic surgeries
- All trauma cases are transferred to other facilities.
