Hiring: Registered Dietitian – Coler Memorial Hospital
Facility: NYC Health + Hospitals – Coler
Location: 900 Main Street, New York, NY 10044

Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 5 Days/Week | 7-Hour Shifts
Hours: 35 Hours/Week
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of Registered Dietitian experience (2 years preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Foods, or Nutrition.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through CDR required.
- NY State Dietitian-Nutritionist certification required for post-acute assignments.
- Experience with Nutrition Assessments, Diet Modifications, and Nutrition Education.
- PointClickCare/SigmaCare and MDS 3.0 experience preferred.
- AHA BLS preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient nutritional assessments and determine dietary needs.
- Provide nutrition education to patients and families.
- Monitor food/drug interactions.
- Review laboratory results and medical records.
- Recommend diet modifications in collaboration with physicians.
- Document nutrition care and patient understanding.
- Modify patient menus based on individual dietary needs.
