Hiring: Critical Care RN (ICU) – Pikeville Medical Center

Facility: Pikeville Medical Center
Location: Pikeville, KY 41501

Start Date: 11/16/2026
Contract: 6 Weeks

Schedule: 4 Days/Week | 12-Hour Day Shifts (7 AM – 7 PM)
Hours: 48 Hours/Week
 

Requirements:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• Active Kentucky RN License.
• BLS required.
• ACLS required within 90 days (before completion of orientation).
• Basic EKG class required at the next available class.
• NIH Stroke Scale required within 90 days (before completion of orientation).
• TNCC preferred.
• Critical Care/ICU experience and strong cardiac monitoring skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care to critically ill adult and elderly patients.
• Airway and ventilator management.
• Cardiac monitoring and specialized IV drip titration.
• Post-operative vascular surgery care.
• Neurological, respiratory, renal, and gastrointestinal care.
• Central line care and invasive monitoring.
• CRRT, IV therapy, and transfusion therapy.
• Medication administration and sedation.
• Assist with specialized procedures and Code Blue management.
