Operating Room (OR) RN – Valley View Medical Center

Location: Fort Mohave, AZ
Shift: Day Shift (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Openings: 1

Position Details:

• 1–2 years of acute care experience required.
• Compact RN or Arizona RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• PALS preferred (can be obtained onsite).
• Must have experience in General Surgery, Endoscopy, Orthopedics, OB, and GYN.
• Must be comfortable with scheduled and emergency C-sections.
• May float to PACU as a second RN.
• Weekend requirements: On-call only.
• On-call is shared evenly among OR RNs, usually starting at 5:00 PM.
• Approximately 90% outpatient and 10% inpatient cases.

• Department: Operating Room
• 6 Operating Rooms
• 1 Endoscopy Suite
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Equipment: Olympus laparoscopic/endoscopy equipment, processors, monitors, STERIS beds, and HANA table.
• EHR: Medhost and CQI.
• Patient Population:
  • 70% Adults
  • 28% Geriatric
  • 2% Pediatric

• Scrubs are provided by the facility.
• Visible tattoos are acceptable if they meet professional standards.
• Personal clothing must not display inappropriate images or offensive language.
