Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department (ED)

Location: Georgetown, KY 40324

Start Date: 11/30/2026
End Date: 02/27/2027
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week
Weekends/Holidays: As needed
 

Requirements:

• ADN/ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Active, unrestricted Kentucky RN license.
• BLS required.
• No minimum experience required; previous nursing experience preferred.
• Strong ED experience is preferred, especially with different age groups and patient acuity.

Preferred ED Skills:

• Triage and emergency patient assessment.
• Cardiac and stroke patient care.
• Pediatric and respiratory emergencies.
• IV access and phlebotomy.
• Procedural sedation and patient stabilization.
• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP and ventilation equipment is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients, prioritize needs, and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide emergency nursing interventions and treatments.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide safe, evidence-based care.
