Job Overview
Seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for per diem opportunities in Reseda, California. This unit provides short-term acute psychiatric care for geriatric patients aged 60 and older in a 10-bed specialized setting. We are looking for clinically strong, dependable RNs with acute care experience and a background in psychiatric nursing who can deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Shift: Rotating Day & Night Shifts
Duration: June 8, 2026 – June 6, 2027
Shift Details
- Day Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
- Rotating shifts
- Per diem scheduling
- No on-call requirements
- No floating required
- Half-day orientation scheduled before the first shift
Pay Details: $62/hr and OT $93/hr
Required Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).
Qualifications
- Current and valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
- Previous psychiatric nursing experience required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment.
- Experience caring for geriatric patients required.
