LDRP RN | Nights

Assignment & Schedule

• Shift: Nights, 7 p.m.–7 a.m.
• Leadership creates schedules in 6-week blocks; travelers must be flexible.
• All time-off requests must be submitted before the assignment starts.
• Holiday rotation may be required.
• Rare call/standby for low census.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of LDRP experience within the past 3 years.
• Antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage experience.
• Comfortable circulating and recovering C-sections.
• AHA BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification.
• Unit notes accept AWHONN Intermediate/Advanced or C-EFM; the certification checklist specifically lists AWHONN Intermediate.
• Active license required at submission; BSN not required.
• Prior travel experience preferred.

Unit Details

• 12-bed LDRP | 1 C-section OR | Approximately 300 births/year.
• Ratios: Labor 1:1; couplet care 1:2–3.
• Pitocin and magnesium titration required.
• Charting: Epic.
• Facility listed as Level III trauma.
• Occasional overnight mastectomy overflow patients; orientation provided.

Floating & Orientation

• No routine floating; extreme staffing needs may require floating within Zone 3: OCH, LUH, SAH, SAN.
• 1–3 shifts with a preceptor.
• Blue hospital scrubs provided.
• Must be in-state during orientation week, including when initial modules are remote.

Submission & Facility Policies

• 60-mile radius rule; driver’s license required at submission.

• Interview with the Medical Solutions Clinical Team, without unit manager involvement.
