Description
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (RN L&D) | $2448 | (Stipend package option available to help maximize your take-home pay) | 36 hours/week
Specialty: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery
Facility: Texas Health Alliance – Texas Health Resources
Location: Fort Worth, Texas
Start Date: November 30, 2026
End Date: February 28, 2027
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | 12-Hour Night Shift
Hours: Flexible – 24, 24/36, or 36 hours per week
Patient Ratio: 1:2
Unit: 14-bed Labor & Delivery Unit
Volume: Approximately 175 cases per month
Trauma Level: Level III
Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
Orientation Pay: Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate.
Radius Rule: Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the hospital. A current driver's license (DL) must be included in the submission packet.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive maternal and newborn care at Texas Health Alliance. The RN will care for laboring and antepartum patients, circulate C-sections, assist with recovery, and provide couplet care. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced L&D environment.
Qualifications/Initial Requirements
✓ Minimum of 2 current years of L&D experience.
✓ Must have experience circulating C-sections.
✓ Active Texas RN license or applicable compact license.
✓ Advanced NRP certification.
✓ ACLS certification.
✓ BLS certification.
✓ Fetal Monitoring certification.
✓ Labor, antepartum, recovery, and couplet care experience.
Additional Details
- Potential floating to Mother/Baby or other units as a sitter/task RN.
- Voluntary on-call opportunities available.
- Weekends and holidays as needed.
- Weekend and holiday rotation required.
- All RNs must meet the 100-mile radius requirement.
