Overview

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a brand-new outpatient imaging center in Toms River, NJ. This is a unique opportunity to join a new team from the ground up and help build a high-quality, patient-focused imaging service.

This role is ideal for an experienced MRI Tech who values a consistent weekday schedule, advanced imaging technology, and long-term stability in an outpatient setting.

Position Highlights

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic MRI examinations
• Review physician orders and patient history to ensure appropriate imaging protocols
• Complete MRI safety screenings and identify contraindications
• Properly position patients and select appropriate imaging sequences
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout exams
• Evaluate images for quality and completeness
• Maintain MRI equipment and follow quality assurance standards
• Complete accurate patient and imaging documentation
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care
• Adhere to all MRI safety and facility protocols

Requirements

• ARRT (MR) Certification Required
• 5+ years of MRI experience
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

• 3T Siemens MRI experience
• Previous outpatient imaging experience
• Experience with high-volume MRI workflows
• Experience with or interest in remote MRI scanning
