Location: Morton Plant North Bay Hospital, Florida

Coverage: Night Shift & Call Coverage
 

Position Overview

An immediate opportunity for an experienced Neurosurgery PA to join a well-established neurosurgery practice in Florida. Work alongside 4 neurosurgeons and 4 advanced practice providers, providing care to adult patients in a hospital-based setting.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide neurosurgical coverage for adult patients.
• Perform inpatient rounding and support outpatient services as needed.
• Handle overnight neurosurgery consultations and call coverage.
• Respond to calls within 15 minutes.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Manage approximately 10 patients per shift.

Requirements

• Active Florida PA license or IMLC eligibility as applicable.
• Current board certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Neurosurgery APP.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Hospital privileges required (temporary privileges available).
• Neurosurgery fellowship preferred.
• Local candidates preferred.
