Description
Job Description
- Perform laboratory testing and analyze patient specimens, including blood and other body fluids.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory procedures while ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Review and validate test results, identifying and reporting abnormal findings.
- Follow laboratory safety standards, quality control procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory testing.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment.
- Participate in on-call coverage as needed and rotating weekend shifts after completing training.
- On-Call As needed
- Weekends Rotating weekends required after fully trained
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician experience.
- Certifications: ASCP, ASCP-MLS, ASCP-MLT, MLS, or MLT accepted.
- Valid State License
