Description

🏥 RN – Interventional Radiology (IR) | Travel Contract

📍 Des Moines, IA
📅 13-Week Contract
⏰ Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Position Highlights

36 hours/week guaranteed.
48 hours/week available upon request, subject to facility approval (not guaranteed).
Weekend call required (7:30 AM start).
On-call rotation required.
Holiday call coverage required.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
Prepare patients and assist physicians with image-guided procedures.
Monitor vital signs and administer medications and treatments.
Assess patients for complications and respond to emergencies.
Provide post-procedure monitoring and documentation.

Requirements

Active RN license (Iowa or compact).
BLS and PALS required.
Previous Interventional Radiology or related procedural nursing experience.
Strong patient assessment and monitoring skills.
