Description:

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment.

Requirements:

Evening Shift 3pm to 11:30pm; 5 x 8s, no set days. typically, every other weekend as well. Must have RN license, BLS, and preferably CPI. CPI can be attained on site. Require 1 year of psych experience. Inpatient behavioral health EPIC experience required.

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications:

• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required

Department Specific License/Certifications:

• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) or Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A: Required
