Med/Surg RN 

**Clinical Interview Services Unit**.

Radius Rule: Contractors must live outside a 50 mile radius - expires 10/23.

Contract Length: 13 Weeks.

Start Date: ASAP.

Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36.

Shift Requirements: 12hr Nights.

Weekend/Holiday: every other weekend, holiday rotation.

Float Requirements: to like units.

Must be willing to float to Riverview, Plover and Divine Savior.

On Call/Call Back Requirements: Can be low censused and put on call.

Call back minimum is 2 hours.

Required Certifications: WI or compact RN License, AHA or ARC BLS.

(Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications).

Required Education: ADN or BSN.

Minimum Experience: 2+ years required, 1 completed travel assignment required.

Charting Experience: Epic required.

Required Skillset: 2+ years Med Surg, Ortho Experience required.

Unit Information (Bed size, Case type, Patient ratio): 32 beds medical/surgical (ortho, general, urology, ENT) day/ pm ratio 1:4-5, nights 1:6-7.

2nd floor 32 beds 3 levels of care ICU/Stepdown/Med-Surg.

Would take Med/Surg patients only if floated.

Hard worker, Resilient and Manages Change well, Social candidates.

Scrub Colors: any professional-colored scrubs.

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation.

Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.

Travelers can be put on call for low census hours.

The on-call hours that travelers are placed on will count toward the 36 low census unbillable hours.

If the traveler is called back to the facility, they will be able to receive call back pay.

Contract is eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours.

During Flu Season any traveler that declines to be flu and covid vaccinated will be required to wear a mask at all times.

There is no exception to this Aspirus policy.

Failure to adhere to the policy will result in corrective action.
