Facility Overview:
Cheyenne County Hospital is a 16-bed nonprofit Critical Access Hospital in northwestern Kansas, providing Acute Care, Swing Bed services, Obstetrics, and 24-hour Emergency Department services.
 

Position Details:

• Provide nursing care across Medical-Surgical and Emergency Department settings.
• Care for patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, monitor patients, and implement care plans.
• Assist with emergency stabilization, trauma response, and patient transfers.
• Provide patient/family education and discharge planning.
• Cross-cover departments as needed in this rural hospital setting.
• EMR: Not specified.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Critical Access Hospital experience (Required)
• Current Kansas RN license or compact license (Required)
• BLS (AHA or ARC) (Required)
• Current PALS or ENPC (Required)
• Current ACLS (Required)
• TNCC (Preferred)
• NRP (Preferred)
• Two professional references from the past 3 years, including one supervisor
• Completed specialty skills checklist within the past year
