- Position: Cardiac Sonographer / Echocardiographer
- Location: Madison, WI
- Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts
- Shift: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
- Start Time: Variable between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
- Weekend Coverage: Rotating weekends required to support departmental coverage
- Call: May be requested based on operational needs
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of cardiac experience
Position Overview
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to provide high-quality echocardiography services in a hospital setting. This position primarily follows a weekday schedule, with rotating weekend coverage required. Additional call responsibilities may be assigned depending on departmental needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound examinations and echocardiographic studies.
- Obtain high-quality images and measurements to assist physicians in evaluating cardiac function and structure.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain examinations to promote comfort and cooperation.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to department standards.
- Accurately document procedures and maintain complete patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnostic results.
- Participate in rotating weekend coverage and call rotation as operational needs require.
Must-Have Credentials
- Graduate of an ultrasonography program.
- Minimum of 1 year of cardiac imaging experience.
- Current RCS or RDCS credential.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
