Sleep Lab Technologist / Polysomnographer – Job ID: 62522438

Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 3x12 hours – 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- RPSGT certification.
- BLS/BCLS certification.
- New Mexico license required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform sleep studies and collect patient data.
- Prepare, calibrate and adjust sleep lab equipment.
- Apply electrodes and sensors.
- Perform physiological calibrations and PAP mask fitting.
- Conduct MSLT, MWT and oxygen titration tests.
- Monitor sleep study data quality and troubleshoot artifacts.
- Document sleep stages, clinical events and significant occurrences.
- Provide PAP, Bi-level PAP and oxygen therapy as appropriate.
- Score sleep stages and clinical events.
- Prepare reports for physician review.
- Provide patient assessment, care and education.
