☢️ Radiation Therapist – Travel Contract

📍 Little River, SC
📅 13-Week Contract
🏥 Comprehensive Cancer Center | Outpatient Only

Position Highlights

Monday–Friday schedule.
Shifts scheduled within 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
No weekends or call requirements!
Work in a specialized outpatient cancer treatment center.

Responsibilities

Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments using linear accelerators, Tomotherapy, or other advanced treatment equipment.
Accurately position patients according to treatment plans and physician prescriptions.
Operate treatment equipment and verify treatment software.
Perform patient simulations and ensure accurate treatment delivery.
Follow radiation safety and protection protocols.
Educate and support patients and families throughout treatment.
Monitor patient comfort and report treatment-related concerns.
Maintain accurate treatment records and documentation.

Requirements

ARRT certification required.
SCRQSA required.
BLS certification required.
At least 2 years of hands-on experience operating radiation treatment equipment and treating patients.
Strong knowledge of radiation therapy procedures, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
