Travel RN – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
 

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care.
• Monitor patients' health status and assess their ongoing care needs.
• Provide nursing treatments and supportive care to promote patient recovery and well-being.
• Administer prescribed treatments and perform delegated medical functions.
• Educate and counsel patients regarding their health conditions and treatment plans.
• Review and monitor patient therapy and treatment plans.
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
• Float to other departments within scope of competency when required.
• Participate in on-call duties when required.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) from an accredited nursing school.
• Previous PACU RN experience.
• Strong patient assessment and clinical nursing skills.

Required Certifications:

• BLS – American Heart Association
• ACLS
• PALS (as applicable to the unit or service)

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN degree.
• Specialty certification appropriate to the unit or service.
