Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist (CVOR Tech / Cardiothoracic Tech) – Day Shift

• Schedule: Day Shift | 4x10-Hour Shifts | 06:30 – 17:00 | 40 Hours per Week (Block scheduling strictly unavailable)
  • Schedule Structure: 10-hour day shifts. Regular hours are 06:30 – 17:00. All orientation hours are billable.
  • Weekend Coverage: 1 to 2 weekend shifts per month required.

  • On-Call / Standby [STRICT MANDATE]: High call volume required. Candidate MUST explicitly agree to work at least 10 call shifts per month (On-call coverage window: 17:00 – 06:30).

• Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]:
  • Minimum 1+ to 2+ years of dedicated CVOR / Cardiothoracic Surgical Tech experience strictly required [HARDSTOP] (First-time travelers accepted depending on exposure and facility background).
  • Surgical Specialty Competency: Direct hands-on proficiency acting as a singular scrub for open-heart and thoracic procedures (CABG, AVR, MVR, AAA, EVAR, VATS, Mediastinoscopy) and General/Laparoscopic surgery strictly required [HARDSTOP].
  • Mandatory Floating Agreement: Traveler MUST be explicitly aware and agreeable to float to the General OR when needed [HARDSTOP].
• State Licensure & Registration [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
  • Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration strictly required (Pending licenses/registrations accepted at submission) [HARDSTOP].
• Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
  • Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification strictly required IN-HAND at submission [HARDSTOP].
  • Active NBSTSA CST certification highly preferred.
• Call Agreement & RTO Compliance [HARDSTOP]:
  • Candidate MUST explicitly agree to fulfill at least 10 call shifts per month and 1–2 weekends per month [HARDSTOP]. Maximum 2 pre-approved time off (RTO) requests allowed and must be submitted upfront.
