Job Title: Registered Nurse (Long-Term Care)

Locations: Sitka AK 99835

Duration: 13 + Weeks Extension

Shift : 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM , Monday- Friday

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide quality nursing care to patients in a Long-Term Care setting.
The RN will assess patients, administer medications, monitor health conditions, develop care plans, and respond to changes in patient health.
The role involves coordinating with physicians and healthcare staff, maintaining accurate patient records, and providing patient and family education.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to patients with various medical conditions.
Assess patients and monitor changes in their health.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Develop and update individualized patient care plans.
Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team members.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Follow patient safety, infection control, and facility policies.
Provide guidance and support to nursing staff.
Float to other departments as needed.

Requirements: Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent. Active, unrestricted Alaska (AK) RN License required at submission. BLS certification required at the time of hire. Long-Term Care experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
