Schedule & Shift

• Night Shift: 4x10-hour shifts
• Hours: 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• Block Scheduling: Not available
• Floating: May be required to a sister campus (Piedmont Eastside South).
• Holidays: Holiday coverage required based on the number of major holidays falling within the assignment.

Required Certifications

• ASCP-MLS or ASCP-MT
• ASCP-MLT
• CLS, MLS, MT, or MLT credentials accepted as specified by the facility.
• MLT candidates are accepted at a lower pay rate. Please confirm the applicable rate with the Account Manager.

Blood Bank

• ABO/Rh and Antibody Screen/Identification
• AHG Crossmatch
• Antigen Typing
• Immediate Spin/IgG Crossmatch
• Electronic Crossmatch
• Blood Banking Procedures
• Blood Product Thawing/Cooling
• Transfusion Reaction Workup

Urinalysis

• Crystal Identification
• Manual Macroscopic UA
• Microscopic UA

Specimen Processing & Handling

• Specimen Accessioning
• Pipetting
• Specimen Collection
• Processing and Handling

Immunology & Serology

• ANA
• ASO Titer
• Body Fluid Testing
• C3, C4, Total Complement
• Pregnancy Testing (Urine/Blood)
• Rapid Test Kits and Quality Controls
• RPR

• Running Quality Control (QC)
• Analyzer Maintenance

Patient Population

• Adolescents through Geriatrics
• Neonatal, Infant, and Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
