Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience.
• Pediatric PT experience is mandatory – hard stop.
• Active California PT license required.
• BLS required.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Independent outpatient evaluation and treatment skills required.
• Must have outpatient clinic or pediatric home health experience.
• Acute care experience preferred.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Pending state license not accepted.

• Independent patient assessments and evaluations.
• AROM/AAROM/PROM.
• Adaptive equipment.
• Early intervention programs.
• Milestone assessments.
• Pain assessments.
• Discharge planning.
• Patient/family education.
• Home exercise programs.
• Plan of care development.
• Reassessments.

Assessment Tool: PDMS-2 (Peabody Developmental Motor Scales, Second Edition).

Productivity & Workload

• Daily patient load: 7.
• Productivity standard: 7–8 patients per day.
• Must independently manage outpatient PT services.
• This is a medical-based outpatient clinic, NOT a school-based PT position.

Facility & Scheduling Details

• No on-call requirement.
• No regular floating requirement listed for the unit.
• May float into acute care if outpatient census is low.
• May float to nearby sister facilities.
• Monday–Friday schedule.
