RRT Pediatrics - IU Health Riley Hospital for Children 

Schedule

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Hours: 3x12-hour shifts; 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; straight weekends. Other block options available except Tuesday–Thursday.
• Holiday Requirement: Must work 2 out of 3 holiday pairs:
  • 11/27 and 11/28
  • 12/24 and 12/25
  • 12/31 and 1/1
• Floating: Required between NICU and some Pediatric Acute Care areas; may also float to PICU and affiliate hospitals.
• No call requirement

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience is required.
• NICU or PICU experience required.
• Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years (additional facility note says within the last 5 years); strong candidates from a Level I adult trauma facility may be considered.
• L&D experience required, as the clinician will primarily work in L&D.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Experience with neonatal, infant, and pediatric patients.
• Must be comfortable with the every-other-weekend requirement.

Required Documents / Certifications

• Indiana Respiratory Therapist license in hand to submit.
• NBRC RRT.
• BLS and ACLS.
• NRP required if placed in L&D; may be obtained after an offer if required.
• PALS preferred.
