Description
Job Description:
Jewish Hospital is seeking an experienced Travel Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and trauma settings.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- First-time travelers accepted
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
- Kentucky state license
- UofL-specific Vistelar training
- C-arm experience
- Proficiency with portable X-ray equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- O-arm experience preferred; willingness to learn required
Patient Population:
- Inpatient: Transplant, cardiac, critical care, and OR patients
- Outpatient: Transplant workups/follow-ups, athletes, ER, and trauma patients
- Stroke and hand trauma cases
Equipment & Technology:
- EMR: Cerner
- PACS: McKesson (Change Healthcare)
- Equipment: Shimadzu and GE portables, Carestream ER, OEC C-arms, and O-arms
Additional Details:
- Approximately 180 exams per day
- Floating throughout the hospital, including OR
- 3 days of unit orientation
- Weekend rotation may include 12-hour shifts
- Possible weekend on-call shifts with a 1-hour response time
- Holiday coverage required if scheduled
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved
- Scrub Color: Ceil Blue
