Contract Dates: November 22, 2026 – February 20, 2027
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Weekend Requirement: Every 4th weekend
Pay Schedule: Bi-Weekly
Orientation Pay: Please note that the pay schedule is bi-weekly and during orientation, you will be paid 50% of your pay rate.
Radius Rule: Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
Position Overview
Samaritan Hospital is seeking an experienced X-Ray Technologist to independently perform diagnostic imaging procedures for emergency room and inpatient patients. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently in a hospital setting and have experience with Carestream equipment and EPIC.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations for ER and inpatient patients.
- Work independently to complete imaging procedures accurately and efficiently.
- Operate Carestream imaging equipment.
- Follow established imaging protocols and patient safety procedures.
- Ensure proper image quality and accurate documentation.
- Use EPIC for patient documentation and workflow.
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in the every-4th-weekend rotation.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of X-Ray/Radiologic Technologist experience.
- Active ARRT certification.
- Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
- Experience performing ER and inpatient X-ray examinations.
- Carestream equipment experience.
- EPIC experience.
- Ability to work independently.
