Description
RN - Intensive Care Unit
Requirements:
- BLS, ACLS, CPR, NIHSS
- Active Illinois (IL) State RN License
- Strong ICU experience at a Level I Trauma Center required.
- Must be willing to float to the Step-Down ICU unit.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, hospital policies, and nursing standards.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans based on patient needs.
- Educate patients and families regarding their care and treatment plans.
- Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Identify and escalate patient care concerns through the appropriate chain of command.
