Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room

Shift: 7:00 AM–5:00 PM

Required qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of current hospital experience as a CST.
• NBSTA and DORA (Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies) certifications required before submission.
• BLS certification required.
• Must be competent in Neuro/Spine procedures.
• Ortho/Joint experience required as a stated preferred skill.

Clinical experience

Most important specialties:

• Neuro surgery
• Spine surgery
• Orthopedic procedures
• Joint replacement
• Transplant procedures
• Trauma and Level I experience preferred.

Facility information

• 14 operating rooms.
• Approximately 70 staff FTEs.
• EMR: Meditech.
• Patient ratio: approximately 1:1 (estimated, not guaranteed).
• Main hospital building.

Schedule and call requirements

• 7 AM–5 PM scheduled shift.
• Flexibility for day/evening hours as needed.
• 1–2 call shifts per week.
• Call hours: 5 PM–7 PM.
