Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Post-Acute Skilled Nursing & Rehab
Facility: Helen Porter Nursing & Rehab Center
Facility Size: 98 beds
Shift: 12-hour night shifts
Contract Duration: 16–26 weeks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
- Minimum 1 year of specialty experience.
- Previous travel experience required.
- Recent Epic experience within the past 2 years is mandatory.
- BLS certification required.
- Dementia-capable care certification preferred.
- IV certification preferred for LPNs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting.
- Support patients with individualized care needs and rehabilitation goals.
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and patient transports.
- Start IVs and assist with related clinical procedures.
- Perform nebulizer-to-inhaler treatments as appropriate.
- Document patient care using Epic.
- Administer medications using the Epic medication system.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team and ancillary staff.
