RN – OB (Obstetrics Acute)
📅 Start Date: ASAP
⏳ Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
🌙 Shift: Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
🕒 Schedule: 48 Hours/Week
🏥 Unit: Obstetrics Acute

Requirements & Certifications:

• Active California RN License.
• BLS Certification.
• AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS Certification.
• S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification.
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS Certification.
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Certification.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
• BSN preferred.
• Acute care experience preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients.
• Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health conditions.
• Perform fetal heart monitoring and evaluate results.
• Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum patient care as assigned.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Educate and support patients and their families.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using EPIC.
• Ensure patient safety and follow hospital standards.

• Facility: Adventist Health Delano
• Hospital Size: 156-bed medical center.
• Service Area: Serves 10 rural Central California cities.

Additional Information:

• 13-week travel assignment.
• Night shift only.
• 36 or 48 hours per week available.
• Floating to Adventist Health Bakersfield is required as needed.
• EPIC experience is mandatory.
