What You'll Do

• Prepare operating rooms with instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies
• Maintain sterile technique throughout surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and anticipating procedural needs
• Perform surgical counts and support patient safety initiatives
• Prepare, clean, sterilize, and maintain surgical equipment
• Assist with patient positioning and operating room setup
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia teams
• Ensure compliance with infection control and facility policies
• Document appropriately within EPIC

Requirements

✅ Graduate of an Accredited Surgical Technology Program (Civilian or Military)

✅ Current NBSTSA Certification Required

✅ Current BLS Certification Required

✅ Experience working in an Operating Room setting

✅ Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation

✅ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment

✅ Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English

✅ Orthopedic Surgery Experience Strongly Preferred
