Description
Urology Physician Assistant (PA) – Locum Opportunity
Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Urology Physician Assistant for an outpatient clinic assignment in Sacramento, California.
Position Details:
📍 Sacramento, CA
🕐 Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
📅 ASAP Start | 6 Months + Extension Potential💰 $90–$105/hr
🚫 No Call | 40 Hours/Week
🏥 Outpatient Urology Clinic
💻 EPIC EMRPatient Volume: Approximately 15–18 patients per day
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage patients with common urological conditions.
- Provide cancer surveillance and pre/post-operative care.
- Conduct consultations and follow-up visits.
- Manage prostate and male reproductive health conditions.
- Evaluate urinary, bladder, kidney, and upper urinary tract conditions.
- Order and review diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
- Provide patient education and coordinate ongoing care.
The APP will focus on routine outpatient urology care. Complex surgical and oncologic cases will be referred to the appropriate Urologist.
Candidate Requirements:
Active California PA license required.
Board Certified.
BLS certification (American Heart Association).
Urology experience preferred.
Vaccination preferred; waivers will be considered.
No temporary licenses available.
