PCU Float RN | Auburn 

• Assignment: Float throughout Auburn, potentially Covington, caring for PCU-level patients and lower acuity. Majority of time spent in ED overflow.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years. First-time travelers accepted.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
• Unit: 33-bed PCU with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Required skills: Cardiac rhythm interpretation, tracheostomy care, stable continuous BiPAP management, invasive line management, ostomy care, general drains, chest tubes, lumbar drains, IV medication titration, and CIWA patient management.
• Patient population: Respiratory distress, ESRD, AKI, COPD, GI bleeds, sepsis, general postoperative care, stroke, alcohol withdrawal, overdose, CHF, and post-cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology.
• Charting: Epic experience required.

• Scrubs: Any color except camouflage; navy blue preferred.
