Job Description
Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room RN for its CVOR team. The nurse will support complex congenital cardiac procedures and provide specialized perioperative care to pediatric patients.
Required Certifications
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- AHA PALS
- Epic experience

- Pediatric CVOR experience
Pediatric CVOR Procedures
- Congenital open-heart surgeries
- ASD / VSD
- Norwood / Glenn / Fontan
- TAPVR
- ECMO
- Central shunts
- Arterial switch
- Arch reconstruction
- Valve repair / replacement
- Heart transplantation
Call Requirements
- Required weekday and weekend call
- Approximately 10–12 call shifts per 28-day schedule
- Cardiac call only
- 30-minute call response time
Additional Information
- Floating as needed to areas of similar skill set
- May float to thoracic surgery
- Holiday requirement: One major holiday
- Guaranteed hours: Not specified
